As a combination of on-grid and off-grid solar systems, ESS perfectly integrates their respective advantages. Household ESS and commercial ESS have power supply from solar panels and the grid. It also has a battery system that can provide backup power when both the panel and grid fail, and send surplus power to grid when the battery system is fully charged and generates surplus power.
