SUNPOLE SPRSD series Rapid Shutdown Switch contains Module Level and PV Array Level.

The Solar PV array level firefighter safety switch is applied to residential PV system or industrial and commercial PV system, its maximum loop voltage can be up to 1500V which meets the requirements of high-power panel. The max curernt is up to 55A, 50A, 40A, 32A, 16A based on different voltage. When in a emergency situation, it can quickly cut off the high voltage between the PV Modules and the solar inverter, ensures the safety for your Photovoltaic system.

It can fit 1 string, 2 strings, 3 strings, 4 strings, 5 strings, 6 strings, 7 strings, 8 strings, 9 strings, 10 strings.

It can 1) automatically shutdown the DC power of panels when detecting temperature of the area is higher than 70℃. 2) Firefighters or homeowners can manually turn off the AC power of the distribution box when in an emergency or it can automatic shutdown when the AC power has lose. 3) In an emergency, it can be shut down manually through the Panel Level Rapid Shutdown Controller Box. 4) Maintenancers or homeowners can also remotely shutdown through RS485 communication (Optional).

The Module level or we call it panel level firefighter safety switch contains one fit one and one fits two type. Except that it also need a control box for them. Sunpole DC rapid shutdown device is a reliable rapid shutdown according to NEC 2017/2020 690.12 regulations for roof top PV systems fire safety. It can comply with SUNSPEC protocol, match LVRT feature of the inverter, PLC communication control and flame retardant UL94 V-0/UV resistant materials.

The panel level RSD can 1) Automatically shutdown the DC power of panels when detecting temperature of the area is higher than 85℃. 2) In an emergency, firefighters or homeowners can manually turn off the AC power of the distribution box. 3) In an emergency, it can be shut down manually through the Panel Level Rapid Shutdown Controller Box. 4) it can be manually turned off by the DC switch in the SUNSPEC inverter.The max voltage of the one fits two RSD is DC 120V and the max current is 20Ampers.

Regarding the control box, the input voltage is 85-264V AC, norminal frequency is 50/60Hz. One control box can fit max 80unit one fits one RSD and fit 40units one fits two RSD.
